The Cameroon Green Energy Initiative (CGEI) is a legally registered, non-profit business association dedicated to promoting renewable energy development and clean energy investment in Cameroon. Established over ten years ago, CGEI brings together 85 member organizations, including EPC contractors, project developers, engineering firms, equipment suppliers, investors, researchers, and universities, with more than 70% actively engaged in the renewable energy sector. CGEI serves as a platform that connects international technology providers with local businesses, investors, and project developers to facilitate renewable energy projects, procurement opportunities, and strategic partnerships. Our members are actively involved in solar PV, battery energy storage, mini-grids, biomass, wind energy, rural electrification, and commercial energy projects. At the Korea Energy Show, CGEI seeks to establish partnerships with Korean manufacturers and technology providers in solar, battery storage, biomass, wind energy, and smart energy solutions. Through our extensive network, we offer Korean companies access to local implementation partners, project opportunities, and one of Central Africa's growing renewable energy markets. Our goal is to build long-term, commercially sustainable partnerships that accelerate clean energy deployment while creating mutual value for both Korean technology providers and the Cameroonian renewable energy sector. |
