- Business Information KEPCOES will create clean, convenient, and efficient energy. Founded in 2016 by Korea Electric Power Corp., Korea's largest public company, KEPCOES has established itself as an eco-friendly energy efficiency company that reduces energy and minimizes energy costs by establishing a clean and efficient energy use environment. It is clear that improving energy efficiency is the most economical and effective means of implementing carbon neutrality, which contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions without hindering economic growth.Therefore, major global countries are also focusing on improving energy efficiency in terms of demand, along with expanding renewable energy to prepare for the expected increase in electricity demand due to the spread of electricity. Due to the manufacturing-oriented energy consumption structure, Korea has the lowest energy efficiency among OECD countries, and consumers' voluntary participation in energy savings is low due to low electricity rates. To overcome this, KEPCOES aims to minimize energy consumption in industrial facilities and buildings by optimizing high-efficiency energy facilities that combine energy-saving technologies and innovative items for power, lighting, heating and air conditioning. In addition, we will maximize energy value by establishing reasonable energy use through participation in the power business using waste heat, livestock manure bio and waste plastic gas. To this end, Kepcois will introduce a new concept project management process responsible for preliminary energy evaluation (PEA), engineering and performance verification (M&V), operation and maintenance (O&M) for the first time in Korea, and will commercialize an energy solution platform for consumers and solution providers in the energy efficiency market. Based on this, we promise to develop into a top-quality customer-centered total solution and a leading energy demand efficiency company with customers, and we will do our best to cooperate, share profits, and grow together with energy users, ESCO, and construction companies.
