• Business Information In April 2020, HSG Sungdong Shipbuilding announced a new beginning through the merger of Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and HSG Heavy Industries. We boast a track record of building 267 large and medium-sized new generation ships by utilizing its wide yard space optimized for ship production, floating docks, and other facilities. Also we perform various types of ship repairs, including LNG ship cargo tank repairs, and eco-friendly ship conversion projects. Furthermore, we produce ship blocks in various sizes, ranging from single blocks to half blocks, without being limited to a specific types of ships. Simultaneously, in line with the increasing worldwide demand for renewable energy, we continue to conduct research and development for eco-friendly energy solutions Recently, we have been making efforts to produce offshore wind power structures and successfully manufactured Jacket-type substructures. Based on the achievements, we aim to carry out the production of floating/floater types and OSS and to become a leading player in the global offshore wind power market as a renewable energy sector.
