- Business Information AETECH (Advanced Environmental TECHnology): AETECH is a company that looks beyond environmental technology. We focus on the sustainability of the global environment and strive to find fundamental ways to protect it. Currently, the waste sorting process relies on manual sorting by humans. However, this method has resulted in issues such as accidents and injuries due to poor working conditions. Therefore, we aim to improve this method through innovative technology. AETECH is a company with a strong drive and determination, fueled by pride in protecting the environment and the exceptional abilities of its members. We have achieved significant results in a short period of time, making us a powerful force in the industry.
- Technology We are an artificial intelligence and deep learning-based robot called Atron that is used in recycling waste sorting facilities nationwide. Despite the average daily processing of tens of tons of waste at these recycling centers, the lack of innovative technology has resulted in a reliance on manual sorting methods, leading to a recycling rate of only 40%. Atron is designed to accurately identify and sort various types of waste using its brain-like learning capabilities. It can classify seven types of waste, including PET, PE, PS, PP, glass bottles, aluminum cans, and up to 43 subcategories. The object recognition accuracy is approximately 99.3%. Atron can sort up to 2-3 times the amount of waste compared to previous methods and operate unmanned for 20 hours. By implementing Atron, the sorting costs can be reduced by approximately 211% compared to manual sorting, while the operating profit can increase by approximately 380%.
