• Business Information Towards a greener planet, the non-profit Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KCCI) center encourages all the society to reduce carbon emissions, discovers sustainable tech companies, and boosts the private-led voluntary carbon market beyond the country. KCCI Carbon Standard(KCS) program is designed to ensure the integrity of carbon offset projects, aligned with major global initiatives. All projects must be independently audited to ensure compliance with KCS requirements. The KCS program is managed and overseen by independent committees. This governance system enables the committee members to make transparent decisions and professional judgments. Credit known as KCR(KCCI certified Reduction) is confirmed through KCCI center's review and approval. All KCR issuance and retirement records are publicly available on the KCS Registry.

• Technology KCCI center established a consistent and standardized process. Validation and verification are required by KCS in order to guarantee that the KCS requirements are met and the methodologies are properly applied. *Process Step1) Choose approved Methodology and prepare Project Design Docs(PDDs) → Step2) Get validation by accredited third party auditor → Step3) Apply for validation approval with KCS → Step4) Register validated Methodology (and/or) PDDs with KCS(if approved after the review by KCCI center) → Step5) Implementation of project and monitoring → Step6) Get verification by accreditied third party auditior → Step7) Apply for verfication approval with KCS → Step8) Carbon credits(KCRs) are issued by KCCI center(if approved)
